The Wright Brothers Model "B" Airplane as pictured on the left was the first production airplane ever built. The "B" model was chosen because it was stronger and much more stable that the A model. The Wright "B" Flyer is 31 feet in length and has a wingspan of 40 feet. It weighs 2800 pounds and has a cruising speed of 60 miles per hour.
