Along with the desire to build the aircraft came the necessity to hanger it once it was completed and approved for flying. Again volunteers were amassed and the hanger was built. Keeping with repication of the Wright Brothers, a hanger was built like the one (pictured at left) on Huffman Prairie.

Huffman Prairie was located near Dayton and is the location in which the Wright "B" model was flown for testing and the training of Military Aviator's. The site now is a part of Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

This replication is one the grounds of the old Dayton General Airport near Springboro Ohio on state route 741. On December 17th 1995 the airport received a new name during dedication ceremonys the airport is now know as the Dayton Wright Brothers Airport, thanks to efforts again of many volunteers and the cities of Miamisburg and Dayton. The map on the left shows the location of the airport in relation to Dayton.
